| Hey, I'm Kimmi and I'm from Houston, TX, born and raised. I am going to be a senior at the Texas Academy of Math and Science and I plan combining my passion for art and computer science towards a career in the near future. As a minority in the computer science field, I cannot stress enough the importance of diversity and equality in the workforce, especially STEM fields. Outside of school, I spend my time dancing, teaching children, hanging out with friends, and watching Netflix. Hi, I'm Connie, a KWK Scholar in Dallas. I am currently a TAMS student in the computer science track. Besides my passion for CS and business, I love working in my research lab where I am able to delve deeper into the realm of machine learning and artificial intelligence in application to the medical world. Moreover, I am a huge advocate for women in STEM and women in business as I believe it is crucial to close the gender gap between men in women in the workforce. In my free time, I love being with my friends, painting, running, and watching Marvel movies! I also love drinking almond milk and looking at cute pictures of piglets. |
